All SLIIT degrees are approved by the University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Higher Education.

Providing further opportunities for prospective students, SLIIT has partnered with globally recognized prestigious foreign universities and education institutes. Moreover, students have the ability to enrol in foreign degree programs from Curtin University, Australia, Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom; and the William Angliss Institute, Australia. Upon part-completion of their degree, they can opt to transfer to these institutes and universities overseas and continue their chosen course of study.
