We congratulate our future leaders: Grandiose NSBM Convocation Week for the year 2021!

NSBM Green University started its annual Convocation Week on 25th January 2022. It will continue with glamour for four (4) days ending on 28th January 2022. This ceremonious celebration of NSBM student accomplishments will be held at the NSBM Auditorium under the distinguished patronage of renowned guests, scholars, parents, and students. Nearly 2000 students representing the Faculty of Business, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Engineering, and the Postgraduate Unit will be conferred ceremonially during the Convocation Week.

Professor in Management, and the former Director and Chairman of the Board of Management, PIM, Prof Ajantha Dharmasiri,  the Chairman of George Steuart Group, Mr Dilith Jayaweera, Director of BRAND PARTNERS PLC, Mr Sumit Law, and the Chairperson of the University Grants Commission(UGC), Prof Sampath Amarathunga honoured the event as  Chief Guests of Day 1 of NSBM Convocation Week 2021 and brought inspiration and motivation to the audience through their insightful keynote speeches. The graceful presence of the Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. E A Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans, Heads, and Academics of NSBM further enriched the glamour of the event.

NSBM Green University has partnered with globally recognized, top-ranked foreign universities such as the University of Plymouth – UK, University College Dublin – Ireland, and Victoria University – Australia in delivering affiliated foreign degree programmes. NSBM also offers University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Higher Education approved degree programmes in the fields of Business, Computing, Engineering, Interior Design and Multimedia.

During the NSBM Convocation Week 2021, Hon. Minister Dr Bandula Gunawardana, Hon. Minister Dullas Alahapperuma, Hon. State Minister, Dr Seetha Arambepola, Hon. Minister Dr Ramesh Pathirana and many other distinguished dignitaries, renowned academics and foreign diplomats representing the respective foreign country of affiliated universities are invited to grace the event with their courteous presence.
