Mod’Art International Sri Lanka and LIFT Infuses Batik Art

Eric Suriyasena Batiks are one of the market leaders in batik industry of Sri Lanka with an experience of 55 years. Commemorating the 55 years of journey a fashion show was held on 26th of July 2019. Ten students of Mod’ Art International Sri Lanka and Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology competed with their designs infused with batik.

Malinthi Shashi Prabha won the 1st place, 2nd place was won by Bithu Silva and Piumi Senanayake was placed 3rd.
