By the end of the course participants should be able to:

* describe how cultural and other influences impact the effectiveness of a range of approaches to influencing
* follow a systematic process to develop effective strategies to better influence people from a range of cultural backgrounds
* adapt the way they communicate their messages to convince different people more effectively.

Participants will be better able to:

* feel confident in their ability to influence others in new cultural environments
* build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, earning trust and facilitating the decision-making process
* reach agreement more quickly, ensure goals are achieved and that follow-through is successful.
