| Required results - A/L | Any - Age should be below 22 years and above 18 years AND A “Credit Pass” for English at the GCE (O/L) Examination (Sri Lanka /London) AND 2 Simple passes at the GCE (A/L) Examination (Sri Lanka /London) in Mathematics Stream OR 2 Simple passes (including Physics) at the GCE (A/L) Examination (Sri Lanka /London) in Biology Stream OR 2 Simple passes for Engineering Technology and Science for Technology at the GCE (A/L) Examination in Technology Stream OR Successful completion of Marine Engineering Officer Cadet Foundation Course at CINEC * The recruitment of cadets is done after a series of interviews, psychometric test, medical examination and a physical endurance test ** Please note that those who have 3 passes in A/L will be awarded BSc.(Hons) in Marine Engineering which is fully accredited by UGC, after they complete class 2 Certificate of Competency. |
